Intervistato da 'Sky Sport', Nuno Gomes ha parlato di Rafael Leao. Queste le sue dichiarazioni: "Non è il suo migliore periodo, però è un grandissimo giocatore e può fare la differenza. Anche se non è titolare, ha fatto benissimo al Mondiale. Se ha fiducia può risolvere le partite con le sue qualità. Avrà le sue opportunità con Martinez e credo sia un momento per Leao trovare anche il suo miglior momento perché a volte la nazionale serve anche a quello".
