Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 35enne attaccante svedese al Milan dal 2010 al 2012 (85 presenze, 56 gol) ha rivelato al ‘Mirror’ come sarebbe potuto arrivare già qualche anno fa al Manchester United: "E' vero, c'erano delle proposte per venire qui prima. Ma non pensavo fosse il momento giusto". Ora finalmente i ‘Red Devils’ si possono godere le prestazioni del campione scandinavo che ha già realizzato 6 gol in 11 partite tra Premier, Community Shield ed Europa League, lasciando il suo marchio indelebile anche in Inghilterra.
